t is with a very heavy heart that we announce the passing of our co-founder, Clay Bright.
Clay was instrumental in leading the Bright organization for many years and had a unique ability to create strategies to achieve desired results. His work and vision with respect to the community of Castle Hills, The Castle Hills School Foundation, the founding of American Legend Homes and Bright Capital Group, as well as many other successful ventures helped create the framework of what we are today and what we will be going forward.
A devout Texas Aggie, class of 1978, Clay served for many years on various A&M boards with distinction and devotion. He was also a true outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf and time with
family and friends.Clay was the proud father of four children; Stuart, Justin, Parker and Ginger, and doting grandfather (Pop) to his many grandchildren. He is also survived by his wife, Cher Bright and his brother,
Chris Bright.Clay’s genuine personality and invaluable contributions to the success of our company will be greatly missed by the entire American Legend Homes family.
