Belclaire Homes named finalist for two Texas Ass’n of Builders Star Awards

The Texas Association of Builders Star Awards is the only statewide program that recognizes excellence in the home building industry. The Star Awards showcase the outstanding work of builders, architects, construction professionals and designers in Texas. Belclaire is excited to be recognized as a finalist in two categories this year: best kitchen design and best bathroom design. 

While all of our kitchen and bathroom layouts are exceptional, the floor plan in our Canyon Falls model home is in the running for both best kitchen and bathroom designs. Here are just a few elements that made them stand out for the Star Awards judges: 

Our Canyon Falls kitchen “stand-outs”:

• The multi-purpose centerpiece island, with added space around all sides and a stainless undermount sink, is ideal for mealtime and for setting up a stunning buffet, but it also serves as the home’s gathering place.

• The kitchen’s stunning design features Shaker-style maple cabinetry accented with simple, yet chic black hardware that extends to the ceiling. Rich dark quartz counters provide the perfect contrast to the earthy herringbone mosaic stone backsplash.

• Picture windows frame the stovetop and a dramatic vent hood, giving the room height and welcoming families with an abundance of natural light to fill the kitchen and casual dining areas.
• Floor-to-ceiling cabinets and the oversized island allow for smart storage; counter space is so abundant that it even allows for a convenient corner coffee station; and dual pantries and a connecting butler’s pantry make this kitchen just as functional as it is beautiful.  

Our Canyon Falls bathroom “stand-outs”:

• The freestanding spa tub provides a deep-soaking experience and an elegant, spa-like appearance that becomes the focal point of the bathroom.

• The bathroom isn’t just luxurious, it’s practical and multifunctional. Sitting on opposite sides of the bathroom are two large closets with custom shelving and a convenient connection to the laundry room.

• Two large, separate vanities with plenty of storage and counter space mean more space for getting ready and less clutter. The gold polished flooring and quartz counters pair nicely with the clean white cabinets and satin nickel hardware to make this bathroom a true sanctuary.

• The oversized, corner glass shower is modern in appearance but is given a classic, timeless look with shimmering subways tiles that perfectly complement the matte white penny tile flooring.
